From the Official Dota website we have the newest map, here was the changelog given:

* Fixed some item exploits
* Fixed a rare memory related bug
* Temporarily changed switch voting system. It requires 100% of the vote for now. There will be a better -switch implementation in the next version or two
* Fixed a few other misc bug/exploits

6.60 is still in very active development. I will try to post more updates about it when it gets closer to release. If you have any suggestions you’d like to offer for it, please email me and let me know.

What is DotA Launcher?

DotA Launcher is an application designed to automate the sometimes-technical process of downloading and installing new, updated versions of the DotA Allstars map. DotA Launcher is also designed to simplify the process of changing the resolution of Warcraft III via manipulation of its registry entries, providing for easy configuration of widescreen or windowed mode, with value-added enhancements for both. Best of all, it’s all presented in a simple and easy to use interface.

Does it have any special requirements?

Nope! DotA Launcher will run on pretty much any Microsoft Windows system, and should work properly on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and probably 7.

Notes:

Tested on Windows XP and Windows Vista x64.
With some tests, I’ve noticed the OnTop code to be slightly buggy on a single test system.
For those of you who would like to use this app, please give me any feedback about your experiences.
Source code to come with a 1.0 release.
DotA Launcher is written in AutoIt.

Upgrading:

To upgrade DotA Launcher, simply download the MSI file below and run it. It will automatically upgrade the old version. For users who prefer the zip distribution, just download the new zip file.

You can use DotA Launcher in one of two different ways. The first is an MSI, designed to make using DotA Launcher as easy as possible. A non-installer version is also available for those who don’t like/want an installer.

To Do List: (as of April 12th, 2009)

With my Computer room project finished (pics to come in a sig that I’ll eventually make ) I’m starting to lose track of features I will be adding to this app, and will list/track them here:

-Automatic Port mapping via Winodws UPnP support, allowing those with UPnP capable routers to host without having to configure them manually (partially implemented)
-Garena Support (already implemented, but needs wrapped up into DotA Launcher)
-Automatic Installation and setup of WC3Banlist
-Automatic Installation and setup of pickup.ListChecker
-Include pregame launch support for above apps (implemented in my personal scripts, will port to DotA Launcher)
-Source code release (Completed 4/12/2009)
-Switch to a config/launch format, making it possible to set up dota launcher with one shortcut, and launch with a different one. This way, users won’t have to “click through” the application to gain its benefits, providing the one-click launch experience of regular DotA play, but with DotA Launcher’s benefits.
-Dynamic Mirror retrieval. If one of the mirrors in DotA Launcher’s internal list is bad, it can require a lot of clicking until you get a good one. This will be fixed in the upcoming release.
-Add dynamic brightness adjustment for windowed mode users. (working in personal scripts, need to redo for release)
-Built in facility to update the application itself.
